ükya is a Norwegian trio who plays in the field of improvised and open form music. Their own combination of rasping brass, stretched strings and singing bronze make way for an idiosyncratic expression within the improv scene. The band has been a regular fixture in the Norwegian jazz and avant-garde scene, and also playing concerts in several countries in Europe.
ükya reflects on, just intonation, European art music, jazz and British improvisational music. This results in a contemporary reflection of free form, rigorous organization of sound and lyrical blow.

This concert is a part of their release tour, and Vinyls and CDs will be available for sales!
Czech trio: Miloš Kunc (keys, sax), Jan Michálek (sax) and Jan Chalupa (drums) will open the evening with an improvised set. It is also the last concert of Miloš Kunc in Prague before he leaves the Czech Republic, so afterparty is on!
