On the occasion of the Czech publication of the novel Dreamdeath (Unelmakuolema), the Scandinavian House and the HYB4 Reading Room are organising a literary night dedicated to the great Finnish writer Leena Krohn.
The translator of the book, Ema C. Stašová, together with the host Jitka Hanušová will reveal interesting and fun facts from the translator’s point of view and offer different ways of reading this ambitious satirical-dystopian novel. We will listen to songs that play an important role in the text and literary excerpts from the novel performed by actress Marie Jansová.
The event will take place on 27 April 2022 at 7.00 pm in the Reading Room of Hlína Café in Hybernská Campus.
Admission: Voluntary contribution.
The event is part of the Nordic Literature in the Heart of Europe 2022 project supported by the City of Prague and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
