In the Nordic literary salon online in March, we will take a look at Lihuanian literature. Translator Romana Smělíková will tell us about an original, and now a cult classic, collection of short stories, poems and experimental texts Writings of Little Brown-Nosed Bear by a prominent Lithuanian author Vytautas V. Landsbergis.

The partner of Nordic literary salon online is Czech Translators of the North – an association that brings together translators of fiction from Northern languages to Czech. The event is part of the Scandinavian House’s year-long project Nordic Literature in the Heart of Europe 2025, which is held with financial support by the Prague City Hall and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
