Do you like our (online) events, articles or the activity on social media? Become a member of the Scandinavian House and support us! Since we are a Czech non-profit organisation run exclusively by volunteers (more info in the section “About Us”), this year has been difficult. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent measures, we have lost most of our income, like the entrance fees, selling our merchandise and books at our events/festivals. Meanwhile, we still have many of our expenses, such as the rent of our office and library, and others (such as maintenance of this place).
You can support us by becoming a member or buying our Scandinavian-themed merchandise and Scandinavian books translated into Czech (at the moment, we are offering a 10% discount for everyone and a 20% discount for our members). Because of the governmental measures, our library is closed until further notice, although becoming a member or buying books and merchandise can be done via email/post.
