We would like to invite you to a literary evening with the translators Jana Chmura-Svatošová, Linda Kaprová, Věra Kociánová and Michal Švec. They will introduce their new “Nordic” translations recently published by the Argo publishing house: We Know You Remember by Tove Alsterdal, awarded Best Swedish Crime Novel of 2020; Blaze Me a Sun by Christoffer Carlsson, a novel about a crime from the same night when Olof Palme was assassinated; Lithuanian graphic novel Siberian Haiku by Jurga Vilé and Lina Itagaki about a childhood in exile; and a Finnish historical novel about love for flying and the life of Finnish people in the USSR, Wing of Fire (Tulisiipi), by the acclaimed author Juha-Pekka Koskinen.
