Do you miss a proper winter with loads of snow? Come to hear travel stories of the freezing North! The Scandinavian House in cooperation with Travellers’ Club (Klub cestovalů Praha) cordially invites you to its ninth year of intriguing travel lectures on Southern parts of Norway and Finnish polar circle area.
The ultra-biker Markéta Peggy Marvanová will reveal in her lecture what kind of challenges one has to overcome on the one-thousand-kilometer long route of Lapland Extreme Challenge through the snowy Finnish Lapland. The Finnish traveller, adventurer and photographer Harri Ahonen will talk about the most astonishing hikes in the national parks of Southern Norway and more over, he will share his experiences with cooking in the middle of Northern wilderness. Both lectures will be accompanied by stunning visuals to transport you to lands far away without leaving the comfort of your seat.
Admission fee: CZK 80 / 50 (discount for Scandinavian House members)
