Swedish choir in Prague

Maria Kyrkokör, a mixed choir from the city of Halmstad on Sweden’s west coast, is coming to Prague to perform three times during the last weekend of April, at the time of the Swedish and Czech Walpurgis Night celebrations. The choir consists of 25 members and its wide repertoire includes folk songs, gospel and pop as well as classical music. The programme chosen for the Prague performances will be equally diverse.

During their visit to Prague, three performances will be given: a concert in Café Kampus on Saturday 28th April at 6 PM and singing in St. Clements church during the morning services of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren and the Anglican Episcopal Church on Sunday 29th April at 9:30 AM and 11 AM respectively.
