Waterfalls, deep fjords, hundreds of thousands of lakes, vast forests, glaciers, geysers, endless snow plains and the northern lights. As well as modern architecture, top-quality education, the happiest people in the world and rich literature that is very popular among Czech readers. Translator from Norwegian Jitka Jindřišková and translator from Finnish Michal Švec will present the most beautiful places in Nordic countries and give many tried and true tips on which titles to pick in a library or a bookstore through pictures and talk about Nordic books.
Entry fee is 80/50 CZK. The lecture will take place from 5pm in the conference hall in the library. The tickets will be available for purchase at the counter in the 1st floor of the library or online at HKpoint.cz.
The event is organised by Scandinavian house in collaboration with The Research Library in Hradec Králové.
