A thematic evening in the Milovice library dedicated to Norway, its culture, history, food and sport. You will find out which places are worth visiting and you’ll get to taste some traditional Norwegian dishes.
Waterfalls, deep fjords, islands, glacier tongues and plateaus. The Norwegian landscape is without a doubt among the most beautiful in the world. During the lecture we will venture out into national parks and a charming coastline. Although nature takes centre stage in Norway, city tourists will also find much to enjoy here, as we’ll see during the tour of the Norwegian capital Oslo, former Hanseatic port Bergen or the unique Art Nouveau town Ålesund. Presented by Jitka Jindřišková from Scandinavian House.
The lecture will take place from 6 to 7pm, followed by a culinary tasting and a talk by librarians about the Norwegian royal family and the stars of Norwegian biathlon.
The event is organised in collaboration with Scandinavian House.
