After several postponements, Book World Prague 2021 will finally take place in September 2021. Like many times before, Scandinavian literature will be represented. The Nordic stall (S117), as a joined project of the Scandinavian embassies and the honorary consulate of Iceland with the Scandinavian house in Prague, will present (and sell) the newest translations from Scandinavian languages and inform about the news in Scandinavian culture.
Three Scandinavian authors will visit the fair this year: Gunstein Bakke (Norway), Anne-Cathrine Bomann (Denmark) a Mikko-Pekka Heikkinen (Finland). Apart from the events organised by Book World Prague, you will have the opportunity to meet these writers at the Nordic literary evening, which is scheduled for Friday, 24th of September at 7 PM.
Mikko-Pekka Heikkinen will, on September 23rd, also visit Brno in frame of the festival Finnish Literature Weeks.
