Nordic Days 2025

The 16th year of the festival of nordic culture will focus on the topic of progress.

The festival Nordic Days will commence on 30. 10. in both Prague and Brno and will last until 13. 11. in both cities. This year’s topic is progress understood in both positive and negative sense. We will focus on the impact that humans have on nature, places that are connected to discoveries and explorers, growing tourism, technological development or protests against inteference in the enviroment.

As is customary, the festival will host several Nordic writers, such as the author of historical thrillers, Indrek Hargla from Estonia, Estonian author of graphic novels Joonas Sildre and the Icelandic journalist Egill Bjarnason, who wrote the book How Iceland changed the world. The festival’s programme will also encompass film screenings, literary and musical events and travel lectures.
