In the end of April, the popular Finnish author Minna Lindgren, author of funny detective stories from an old people´s home called Twilight Grove is going to visit Prague. The events are held in frame of the campaign #ReadNordic.
There will be two possibilities to meet Minna Lindgren:

Minna Lindgren (born 1963) is a Finnish writer and journalist who has become a best-selling crime-fiction novelist. Born in Helsinki, Lindgren has worked as a journalist and columnist and has written works on classical music. Her novels Kuolema Ehtoolehdossa (Death in Twilight Grove, 2013) and Ehtoolehdon pakolaiset (Escape from Twilight Grove, 2014) have both been best-sellers in Finland. The latter, centred on a 90-year-old granny detective in an old people’s home, reached number five on the Finnish best-seller lists in the summer of 2014. The two novels form part of a trilogy which have been completed in 2015 with Ehtoolehdon tuho (The end of Twilight Grove).
The event is organized by #ReadNordic, the Finnish Embassy in Prague, the Scandinavian House, XYZ publishing house and Kosmas Book Shop. The Finnish month of the campaign has been supported by the Nordic Culture Fund, Finnish presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers and companies Tieto, Nokian Tyres, Škoda Transportation and YIT.
