Since the focus of this years is Swedish cinematography, 43. Summer Film School in Uherské Hradiště and The Scandinavian House are organizing an afternoon with playing kubb on Saturday 29/7.
Kubb is a lawn game of Viking origin (Gotland) where the object is to knock over wooden blocks by throwing wooden batons at them. It is played on a small rectangular pitch in two teams of 1 to 6 players. Games can last from five minutes to well over an hour.
