Contemporary Danish literature will be the highlight of February 2018. Peter Høeg, a well-known Danish writer, is coming to Prague, joined by poet Knud Steffen Nielsen. Two film adaptations will be screened in the Evald Cinema. To experience Danish culture through multiple senses, come and join us for Eat&Read Danish, where literature is complemented by gastronomy. Other events include a seminar for Czech publishers and a networking session for translators from Danish, to name just a few. February issue of the traditional Literary Salon organized by the Scandinavian House branch in Brno will also focus on contemporary Danish literature. The concept of the new literary festival, which aims at introducing current trends, authors and works from all Nordic countries follows up the tradition of the literary campaign #ReadNordic.
