A rough translating of a Danish saying is that “Christmas is the season of hearts”. It means that it’s the time of year where we come together, enjoy ourselves and “hygger”.
The Danish Embassy in Prague will therefore host a Christmas Service (Julegudstjeneste). The Danish priest Lene Sørensen Placatka will read the Christmas Gospel aloud and we will sing carolls – everything will be in Danish. Afterwards there will be æbleskiver (trans.: pancake puffs) and muled wine!
