The Scandinavian House, the Scandinavian Section and the Finnish Section at the Department of Germanic Studies of the Faculty of Arts at the Charles University are holding a conference on the Czech-Nordic relations in literature within the #ReadNordic campaign.
The lectures focus on perception of Nordic literature in the Czech Republic and Czech literature in the North, Czech translations of Nordic literary works and vice versa, mutual inspiration in literature and other types of literary contact between the heart of Europe and the far North.
Open to public, free admission, no registration needed.
Place: the main building of the Faculty of Arts, Prague (Jan Palach square, 2), room 104 (1st floor)

The conference is organised within projects of the Scandinavian House, the literary campaign #ReadNordic and Nordic literature at the heart of Europe 2016, supported by the Czech Ministry of Culture and Prague municipality. The #ReadNordic project is supported by the Embassy of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden in Prague.
