What is Greenland like? How much don’t we know about Greenland’s culture, history and identity and why should we be interested? And why should we explore Greenland at least through books?
We invite you to a discussion on Greenlandic literature and culture. Our invite to the discussion was accepted by political geographer specializing in the Arctic Adam Kočí and diplomat, translator and writer who’s known for his captivating travel lectures Zdeněk Lyčka. Together, they will offer their view of Greenland through its literature, culture, history and language, present the most interesting books that have recently been published in Czech and talk about their professions and interests connected to the Arctic.
The event is organized in connection with the Authors’ Reading Month festival which focuses on Greenland this year.
