Author’s Reading Month: Norway

The Central European literary festival Author’s Reading Month was founded in 2000 in Brno and has spread to other cities over time. In 2023 it will take place in Brno, Ostrava, Bratislava, Prešov and Lviv. The MAČ comprises two main programme lines: one of them, domestic, represents the literature of the host countries, the other the literature of the country that is the guest of honour in a given year. The MAČ opens each year on 1 July in Brno and then moves continuously from one host city to another for thirty-one days. The main programme offers two readings per day: the guest of honour and a representative of the home line.

This year’s guest of honour is Norway.
