Argo publishing house, the Scandinavian house in Prague and Liberál Café are hereby inviting you to the literary evening which will, along with their translators (Marta Bartošková, Jana Holá, Zdeněk Lyčka and Anežka Melounová), introduce four “northern” books recently published by Argo:
Gunstein Bakke’s fragmentary novel Expectant, Golnaz Hashemzadeh Bonde’s emotional story from Sweden: What We Owe, a brave confession from Greenland by Niviaq Korneliussen: HOMO Sapienne, and last but not least, Mikko-Pekka Heikkinen’s Reindeer Mafia, a brutal novel from Lappish underworld.
The evening will be moderated by Hana Zahradníková from Argo publishing house. Excerpts from the book will be read by Michal Švec from the Scandinavian House.
All the introduced titles will be for sale at a reduced price.
