Exhibition of photographs and essays from Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein

The Czech Scholarship Fund in cooperation with the Scandinavian House invites to the exhibition „So many countries, so many customs”, that will present photographs and essays from student study trips to Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. The opening will be on 30 July at 17:00 in Café Nordica in Prague (Zlatnická 10).

The exhibition will last until 15 September 2009.

Celebrate The Sami People´s day with Scandinavian House

Celebrated on the same day each year, the Sami National Holiday is a day of cultural celebrations for Sami people in Sweden, Norway, findland and russia too. The day was first celebrated in 1993 and has become a popular event and a time for indigenous Sami people to celebrate their cultural identity.

Scandinavian House does not miss this event out and we invite all friends of Sami-culture to following actions:
