Skandinávský dům, o.s. (The Scandinavian House) is a voluntary civic association founded in accordance with law no. 83/1990 Collection of Laws and is conducted as a non-profit organization. The activities of The Scandinavian House include various cultural, educational and social events for people interested in the countries in the North of Europe and international relations generally.

Funding is provided mainly by private individuals and corporate donations. Even you, if you wish, may support our activities. You may find it useful and socially profitable to be involved with our association. Any contributions you make will only be used for achieving our goals in accordance with the Article II of the bylaw or for a particular activity or for a project you decide to support. Financial donation, as well as non-pecuniary donation, may be used as a tax deduction.

We would be grateful for your support of any kind.

Non-pecuniary donations

MEMBERSHIP

If you like the countries in the North of Europe or want to take an active part in the Scandinavian House’s activities, become a member! The only thing you have to do is to fill in an application and pay fee 100,- CZK / year for individuals, 10.000,- CZK for corporations.

  • possibility of outside loans of books and magazines

Further member’s rights:

  • To take part in the association’s and authorities’ activities

  • To put forward motions, suggestions and remarks concerning the association’s activities
  • To take part in setting targets and formatting the association’s activities
