Basic price list for companies:
- membership or basic sponsorship: 10.000 CZK / year
- advertisement package for current sponsors or members: 30.000 CZK / year
- advertisement package for new sponsors: 40.000 CZK / year
- event sponsoring: at least 3.000 CZK / event
Annual membership or basic sponsorship (10.000 CZK/year) is a means of your company directly expressing support for the Scandinavian House activities and its endeavour to promote Czech and Northern European cross-cultural relations. In turn we will place your company’s logo at our homepage. The membership also enables you to participate in the Scandinavian House activities, use the library and receive a discount on entrance fees and books; in the case of companies, membership also includes a discount on advertising.
The advertisement package includes placing an advertisement in the advertising section, your company’s logo at all webpages of the Scandinavian House website www.skandinavskydum.cz and in the bimonthly electronic newsletter and direct mailing to around 1000 subscribers (advertisement in email invitations to the Scandinavian House events every three month). Short-term advertising can also include placing your company’s advertisement at our homepage, at the webpage of the Scandinavian House page on Facebook and in the Scandinavian House discussion forum.
Event sponsorship includes placing your company’s logo on leaflets, posters and under the event’s online advertisement, free tickets and thank you during the opening/closing of the event. There is also a possibility to sponsor our library or the Scandinavian House website. A list of upcoming cultural events for the year 2010 is available HERE.

Tax deductions
In case your company decides on basic sponsorship or event sponsorship we will sign a gift agreement with you. On the basis of the agreement, pursuant to § 20 subsection 8 of the Income Tax Act, the value of the gift is tax deductible for legal persons; you can deduct a total of up to 5% from the already reduced tax base. Natural persons can deduct up to 10% from the tax base. The Scandinavian House, being a civic organization active in the field of culture and education, is exempted from the gift tax and can therefore make use of your gift in full extent to fulfil its goals.
In case your company decides on an advertising package we will sign an advertising agreement with you. Advertising expenditure classifies as tax-eligible expenditure and therefore your company can include the full amount into the tax base. For the Scandinavian House, the profit from advertising is a subject to income tax and needs to be included into the tax base.
Your company can also become a member of the Scandinavian House. To become a member you have to fill in the application form and pay the membership fee of 100 CZK/year for a natural person or 10.000 CZK/year for a legal person. On payment we will issue you an accounting document or an invoice. The membership fee is not tax deductible; for the Scandinavian House it is exempted from taxes.
