Now there is a unique chance to check out the new super group from Finland! (including members from Sunrise Avenue and Waltari). The Lead vocalist/composer Kärtsy Hatakka from Waltari has joined Janne Kärkkäinen, the guitar player separated from Sunrise Avenue. They have created the bombastic melodic pop rock songs with a high quality, and with a very catchy melodic angle. This music is very suitable to any kind of formula!! The guys are ready to conquer again the Continental Europe with this project,. which is simply named after the Waltari singer KÄRTSY. 

Kärtsy Hatakka is one of the most remarkable faces in the history of Finnish rock music! As the leader and primus motor of the pioneering multi-cross-over-band Waltari Kärtsy has been starting this well-known invasion of Finnish hard rock/metal music into Europe in early 90s, and been continuing this very long lasting international career with the band since these days, almost 20 years, with 10 albums, 10 long European tours! Lots of chart positions especially in Finland and Germany. Kärtsy has composed the bands all the most remarkable radio hits (chart positions outside Finland f.e.in Germany,Switzerland, Austria, Holland (no.1!), Denmark, Czech Republic, France and Japan (no.6!)), videos been seen in MTV and VIVA, and other international music channels.Waltari has sold around quarter million records.

Other remarkable musical highlights in Kärtsys career have been f.e. a soundtrack work for a wordwide millionseller Finnish computer game Max Payne.

Janne Kärkkäinen has then reached massive success in Germany and Finland with Sunrise Avenues, so far, one and the only album On The Way To Wonderland 2006, which was released almost in every country in Europe. The album sold platinum in Germany and Finland, gold in Switzerland, Austria and Greece. They have had very succesful touring in Germany 2007, and festival shows f.e.Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Nova Rock, Das Fest..Song Choose To Be Me as a theme song in Big Brother Ger.2007 and the band was awarded in European Border Brakers Awards 2007. 

This very fresh line-up includes the interesting new blood from the Finnish rock music field, f.e.Janne Kärkkäinen (ex-Sunrise Avenue), plus guys from the Finnish top quality bands like Muusa and Ari Koivunen. The style is simply high quality Pop Rock. The band has already played a lot of club shows during this year all over Finland, and is now starting a full length cd for the year 2010.
